07 Aug Support Small Businesses in Our Community!
Here at HAB Dental, we are proud to be a locally owned and operated small business. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our community through our dental office in Boynton Beach as well as the Boca Raton dental clinic we opened earlier this year. And at this particular time, we feel very fortunate.
These days, whether from health and safety concerns or as a result of job loss or reduced income, people are staying home instead of venturing out to eat, shop and visit the spa. We’re lucky; people are much more likely to make an appointment to see Boynton Beach dentist Dr. Rosemary Baghdassarian than they are to make reservations for dinner at their favorite restaurant.
There are safe ways to support the local businesses in our community and it’s important that we do. Small businesses are the backbone of this country. And they are hurting.
The Importance of Small Businesses
According to Cox Blue, it is important to support small business in our community for a number of reasons, including:
1 – Jobs and Opportunities
This one is easy to understand: local businesses employee local people. Those people are our friends and neighbors.
2 – Keeps Tax Dollars in the Community
“A thriving community relies on local tax dollars to maintain the infrastructure, beautify neighborhoods, and help support important local programs and initiatives. Every time you purchase a product or service from a local business, the owner will pay their share of local business taxes into the community,” the folks at Cox Blue say. “Your money stays in the community and reenters it to contribute to a positive economic structure.”
3 – Better Customer Service
We’ve all shopped the big box stores. And we all know how hard it can be to find someone to help you! You usually won’t have that problem at a locally owned and operated business.
We hope you are staying safe, sound and sane! And if you are able, we hope you will join with all of us at HAB Dental in Boynton Beach and Boca Raton in buying gift certificates from local salons, ordering takeout from local eateries and taking whatever steps you are comfortable with to support the small businesses in our community. Thank you!
