A Playlist Your Kids Can Brush To

Boynton Beach dentist Dr. Rosemary Baghdassarian wants to remind parents that the back-to-school season is a great time to make brushing their teeth a regular part of your child’s routine. With each new school year comes the opportunity to establish a healthy morning ritual that involves good dental hygiene as well as a healthy breakfast.

Tap Your Toe While the Kids Brush Their Teeth

Just in time for back-to-school, the American Dental Association offers a playlist of songs that your kids can brush along with.

Elmo stars in this PSA from Sesame Street, but he has backup from a diverse array of kids (and a few famous friends, like Nicole Kidman!) all seen brushing their teeth

Proper dental hygiene is so important, Sesame Street produced not just one, but two videos to encourage kids to brush their teeth regularly. This one has something for parents, too… the song, which is performed by The Bicuspids was inspired by Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.”

The catchy tune from Little Baby Bum also has a familiar melody that you might recognize. This time it’s “Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush.” What really sets this one apart, though, is its emphasis on the importance of brushing twice a day.

The idea of making your teeth happy by brushing may just be the motivation your child needs to make brushing a regular habit. KidsTV123 is behind this video, which actually features teeth “jumping for joy.”

The American Dental Association (ADA) weighs in with this offering featuring Dudley the Dinosaur and his friends, who sing about all the steps for good dental care.

In this one, the ADA teams up with the makers of the popular game Plants vs. Zombies to take on the threat of tooth D.K. (otherwise known as decay!).

The animation in this offering from EZTales might not be as sophisticated as what you’ll see in the Plants vs. Zombie video, but it makes up for that shortcoming with its rockabilly beat.

The team at HAB Dental in Boca Raton talked about putting together a musical video of their own, but Boca Raton dentist Dr. Rosemary Baghdassarian has been keeping them so busy they just haven’t had the chance to follow through yet!
